I’m a huge fan of iced lattes from Starbuck’s, but I’m not quite a fan of the price tag. I also seem to have a hard time remembering the order in which to say what it is I’m ordering…Venti Iced Soy Raspberry Latte, phew! Last weekend I bought a $15 Mr. Coffee coffee maker in hopes that I could get that same taste at home. It didn’t taste quite like I was hoping since it wasn’t made with espresso. Back to the store and I bought a Mr. Coffee espresso maker that was on clearance – score!

I like raspberry flavouring added to my iced lattes, but I haven’t been able to find any stores that sell coffee flavouring. I found a recipe for homemade raspberry syrup on the blog A Beautiful Mess. It’s delicious AND simple to make. I tested the espresso machine and raspberry syrup out, and it’s delicious!
