I’ve done several posts on Summerfield Zoo in Belvidere, IL. Todd and I love the Zoo, and I wanted to find a way to help. I did this by making jewelry that could be sold in the gift shop. I’m not doing this to make money, and as such, I’m not making a profit from the items that are sold. I make enough to be able to cover the cost of supplies. The profit of each sale goes back to the Zoo.

No trip to Summerfield Zoo would be complete without a visit to Lilly the Vervet monkey. She seemed excited to see us, although she’s still grieving for Peanut, who passed away.
