I did something I’ve never done before in my nearly four years of embroidering…I cut the fabric. I don’t mean that I cut the fabric in a good way…I wrecked my piece by putting a hole in it. I don’t even know how I did it, but it’s a clean little rip or cut. It wasn’t until I was at the “y” in “my” that I discovered this rip, so I think it may have been when I transported it to work today.

Last weekend I decided to start making product for an Etsy shop made up of embroidered sayings from movies and music. Being the movie and pop culture buff he is, Todd gave me A LOT of quotes! I also got a bunch of good ones from my friends on Facebook. The first piece I started was the one below, from The Princess Bride. I’m somewhat ashamed to say that I hadn’t seen this movie until about a year ago. This is one of my favorite quotes. Really, Princess Bride is full of awesome quotes.
