My productivity is starting to go through the roof! Why is this, you ask? It's because of a few of tools that I acquired recently.

I have an iPad 3, and I carry it with me pretty much everywhere. It's a great tool for almost all areas of my life. The one thing I don't like too much about it, though, is the keyboard. The touch screen keyboard just doesn't work well for me. I had been thinking about getting on of those iPad stands/keyboard dealies for a while. I stopped by Meijer last night after work for some other items, and saw that they carried the Belkin iPad keyboard case. A clerk took it out of the packaging for me so I could test it out. I tried it out, pretending to type. It was okay, but at $99, okay wasn't good enough.

I decided to go to the source, so I stopped by the Apple store to see what they had to offer. The Apple store didn't have a product similar to the Belkin, but they did offer the bluetooth Apple keyboard (which will also work with my Mac), and an origami case. I fiddled around with the keyboard, and it felt good, even better than the keyboard on my Mac. The keyboard folds into the case, and I can still use the iPad cover I have.

The second awesome product is old school. While I love technology for many things, there are just some areas of my life where I need to write it down in order to process the information the best. I stopped by Staples where they have the Martha Stewart (with Avery) line of office supplies. One, I love office supplies. I could go into an office supply store just to walk around and look at things! Two, I love Martha Stewart. Her style is appealing to me, and her products are functional, too. I bought one of her smaller binders in my favorite shade of robin's egg blue, index dividers, and paper to use for those things I need to write out.

The dividers I have (so far) are:

To Do
Blog
e-Courses
Websites
Gettin' Busy with It
Embroidery
Random Acts of Craft

The last productivity product I recently started using is the app Blogsy, which is how I'm creating this blog post. I find the WordPress website that I use on my Mac to be tedious, and the WordPress app for iPad is difficult to use. Blogsy makes blogging with WordPress much easier, in my opinion. I can grab photos from my camera roll, photo stream (I take a lot of pictures on my iPhone, so this is ideal), Flickr, Picasa, Instagram, and Facebook. Additionally, I can grab video from YouTube, and presentations from Vimeo. Adding a picture is as easy as uploading it and sliding it into place with my finger. I'm still learning, and one thing I need to figure out is how to preview a post.

How do you keep yourself productive? What tools do you use?
