Day 2: Who Am I?

List 2 Describe myselfDear Pen Pal,

Since we’ve just started writing each other, I thought it would be a good idea to give you a little idea of what I’m all about.

1. I’m a goofball. I think it’s hilarious to do the unexpected, and I try not to take myself too seriously. I love practical jokes, although I don’t like scary ones to be done to me. My sense of humor is appreciated by those who really know me.

2. I’m proud of where I come from, in good times and bad.

3. I like to be creative in a variety of mediums. Although embroidery is my favorite, I like to try other mediums, too.

4. The Clash is the best band there ever was or there ever will be. And Train in Vain is the best song that ever was or ever will be. Period.

Well I suppose I would say that I can be a quiet person at times, but most often I love to gab and tell funny stories (at least they seem funny to me…) I try not to take myself too seriously, but do end of worrying a lot about things I cannot control, but wish I could. I grew up in the county– right outside Lockport, IL and still live in the same house my father built over 70 years ago. I wish I was more adventuresome in my daily life, but have managed to travel around Europe a few times, with some hilarious stories about why you really SHOULD learn some French before going to Paris and why Italian women are all so skinny! I tend to start a bunch of craft projects at once and then end up having to decide which one I should concentrate on.
