More Embroidery Inspiration in Nature in Orlando

Last week I shared pictures I took in San Antonio, TX on our belated honeymoon in October 2015 {read about it here}, and this week, I’m sharing pictures of flora and fauna I took on a recent vacation to the Orlando, FL area when my son and I visited my parents. I have greatly enjoyed being more aware of my surroundings, and finding beauty in the most unlikely of places. I’m noticing colors and patterns, like those on the Bismark Palm Trees, which have become my favorite type of palm tree. The color of the fronds is uniquely beautiful with a greenish-blueish-whitish color, and the spikiness of the fronds, and the arc they make is stunning. My favorite aspect of this type of palm tree is the pattern the trunk makes. It is so neat, and I couldn’t get enough of them! Here are some pictures I took around my parents’ place, at Universal Studios, and EPCOT that have inspired me.
