Free Pattern! Halloween Sampler Pattern

I am SO EXCITED to finally offer you a pattern!! This is a long time coming, and I hope you think it’s as neat as I do 🙂

I’ve noticed a trend in embroidery where stitchers are creating what I refer to as “samplers.” The ones I’ve seen on Instagram have all featured flowers and florals, seemingly randomly placed on hoops. They look so beautiful, and I wondered how I could put my own spin on it – enter the Halloween Sampler!

What I’ve done with this pattern PDF is included a picture of the finished hoop that I stitched, supplies needed, and a chart with a list of the DMC floss colors I used, number of strands I used for each element, and the type of stitch I used. This doesn’t mean that you have to follow everything I did exactly, though. The beauty of embroidery is that you can make it your own.

In addition to being the first pattern I’ve ever offered, this is also the first time I’ve ever used a PDF embedder plugin. I think that all you should have to do is click on the PDF above this, but, just in case, here’s a link with the PDF in DropBox.

After you stitch the pattern, I would love it if you would post it on Instagram and also tag me – I’m @randomactsofamy on Instagram. Additionally, your feedback is appreciated! What did you think of the pattern? Did the stitch chart help you?

I have more ideas for “sampler” type patterns that I will offer as paid patterns and as completed projects by me. This Halloween Sampler has me so excited to work on all kinds of other patterns!

Happy Stitching! 🙂

This is so cute – I wish you had the ‘vertical’ image embedded too so I could pin it!

So cute! Thanks for the pattern; I look forward to stitching it. The embedded link didn’t work for me, but maybe I did something wrong.
