#ThankStitching No. 17 with Sarah Roberts
I am thankful for hand embroidery in my life for several reasons. Embroidery connects me to the past as I am inspired by the women that stitched for a living and those that adorned their homes with humble hand work. Embroidery gives me a mindful and intentional way to focus my creativity. Embroidery connects me to others that want to learn this craft. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for hand embroidery with my own daughter as well as tables full of excited new stitchers.
#ThankStitching is a project to collect and curate reasons why stitchers worldwide are thankful for their particular needle craft. Look for daily posts in November with hourly posts on Thanksgiving Day.
