#ThankStitching No. 56 with Paula De Amicis
Paula De Amicis
It was through embroidery that I got out of a bad and stressful phase of my life.
It was through embroidery that I found out I could be self taught.
It was through embroidery I met so many inspiring artists.
It was through embroidery that I learned I was capable of doing many beautiful things using my own hands.
It is through embroidery that I can make other people happy.
And it is through embroidery that I was able to meet Alice Mitev from @cut_and_rum and start our Needlework Society (@needleworksociety).
It is through embroidery that we will meet, connect and build a needlework community.
It makes me very happy when at the end of the day I can get to sit on my couch and embroider.
Embroidery helps me find the balance I need in my life.
#ThankStitching is a project to collect and curate reasons why stitchers worldwide are thankful for their particular needle craft. Look for daily posts in November with hourly posts on Thanksgiving Day.
