Hasty Stitch Embroidery Challenge

The Hastystitch Embroidery Challenge was originally created by Kristen of Hey Paul Studios as a way to stretch herself creatively. She shared her challenges on social media, and the phenomenon spread around the world. In November 2014, Kristen passed the reigns of Hastystitch to me, and I’m excited to keep the challenge alive!

On the first of each month, I’ll create a new challenge that will be fun and creative for stitchers of all abilities. The only rule for Hastystitch is that you have fun! The descriptive words in the challenge can mean whatever you want them to mean. For example, if one of the challenge prompts is “orange”, you could embroider the word orange, embroider a picture of an orange, embroider ON an orange – the only limit is your own imagination.

When you post your works on social media, make sure you tag it with #hastystitch
