For nine months of 2012 I created Seasonal Bucket Lists for myself. You can read about them here, here, and here. I fell off the Bucket List bandwagon in late October, and didn’t create a winter list for November, December and January. I’m coming back for 2013, and I’ve even made the lists fancier by renaming them AND I created the first one in Photoshop Elements! I’ve renamed my Seasonal Bucket Lists to:
Gettin’ Busy with It Lists
This name came out of brainstorming with my husband, son, and best friend. Whenever I say the name of the list, or even read it, I say it as if I’m saying, “Gettin’ jiggy with it,” a la Will Smith

The items I picked for the three months are:
- Spring Cleaning
This kind of activity is fun for me. I’m going to put all those deep cleaning pins on Pinterest to good use! - Visit a Museum
I’d like to find something odd or strange in the Chicagoland area that will appeal to both my husband and I (and maybe even my son!). - Make AND send Valentine’s Day cards
I’m guilty of making cards but not sending them out. - Visit a Zoo
Todd and I are signed up to be Zookeepers for a Day at Brookfield Zoo in March. - Start training for the Zombie 5K
Todd and I are signed up to participate in the Run for Your Lives Zombie 5K on Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Byron, IL! Once the weather gets nicer, we’ll be able to create our own obstacle course outside. - Take a class to learn something new
I’m currently in a Photoshop Elements class at North Central College via their Community and Continuing Education program. I’m learning a lot, and having fun. I want to keep this kind of momentum up! - Finish 3 e-courses
I’ve signed up for a bunch of e-courses, but I’m not doing anything past accessing them or printing out the PDFs. - Four Random Acts of Crating
I do one a month. Since I didn’t have a List for January, I’m adding it here.
